Asked if Liverpool could still be viewed as title contenders, Neville said, "I'm going to say yes."

But today was concerning as it was an exceptionally poor performance. They need to take a serious look at themselves and they are aware that they are far from meeting the required standards at this point in time.

Arsenal could have been six points ahead during the November international break if not forSunderland's last-minute goal at the Stadium of Light.

However, Manchester United legend and former England defender Neville minimized the significance of the Sunderland draw.

I wasn't sitting there thinking it was a major setback for Arsenal," he added. "I actually believed it could be a match that might catch them off guard a little.

It's a long race, not a quick dash, and there will be obstacles along the way. It's common to lose some points in the Premier League, so I wouldn't be yelling or getting upset if I were an Arsenal player.

Admitting a last-minute goal creates a nauseating sensation, but they must return to their winning form following the international break.
